Through findings of behavioral research combined with years of experience the coaching, training and correction is absolutely practical and customized to your individual case. No matter how old your dog is, in which behavioral phase he is, what race or mix he belongs to. Taking into account your own personality, life situation and desires, we find solutions and allow a harmonious coexistence.
No dog has deserved to be treated like a human being !
Because in fact he is none! Belonging to the group of “canids” the dog has its own nature, behavior and needs, that differ distinctly from those of humans. You have to deal with him corresponding to that. One cannot expect that he thinks, reacts and behaves like a human.
Only those who know what and how a dog actually is, can properly deal with it.
And who wants his dog to behave acceptably has to take action, because
the dog only does what man permits!
The prerequisite is to understand the dog, to be able to “read” him. And to convey what one wants from him – thus, can communicate with him. With that I can help.
We should offer our dogs a species-appropriate life as possible. This isn’t easy in our very restricted environment, because it is necessary to comply with regulations and of course to be considerate of others. However, within these rules we should give the dog enough freedom, space and time, to be himself, to be a dog. But this requires appropriate training.
We should be clear that our dog is no “designer creature”, that has been created according to our needs and to our satisfaction. The dog has his own character, his own personality and his own needs. These vary depending on the breed or mixture, by age (puppy, young dog, adult dog, senior), stage of life (socialization phase, ranking phase, adolescence, …) or even living situation (family dog, sports dog, working dog …). Accordingly, his keeping, education and training should be oriented thereto, so that he can blend into our lives, being relaxed and balanced.
There is not the method or the training gadget. Dogs are individuals as well as their owners. I principally apply methods and training tools that promise success for this particular dog in this respective situation. Self-evident criterion: pet fair and viable for the owner. Decades of experience, knowledge of behavioral science, education, imagination and “gut instinct” ensure, that for each problem a number of possible solutions is to be found.
Dog training is simpler than most would imagine!
The education and training is absolutely practice-related and tailored to the individual case! Breed-specific characteristics are taken into account. Primarily relevant for my dog handling is the behavior of dogs themselves. Years of observing and living with dog groups and -packs, dealing and working with the dogs, also in various areas of dog training, have influenced my training style. For me it’s “naturally dog”. And dogs among themselves are neither pure softies nor pure hardliners, but a healthy mix:
As nice as possible and as clear as necessary.
Practice-related means, the training does not take place somewhere in a secluded area / dog training field, but where people and dogs live:
At home, on the meadows, in the woods, in the park, in the city… Because the dog should behave well not only on the dog training field, and you shall have actionable help for everyday life from the very beginning. The training location is set depending on the problem and training level. Training is done exclusively in personal coaching, because that way optimal effectiveness and individuality as well as rapid results are guaranteed.
The prerequisite is, that you really want to change something with your dog, either eliminate misbehavior or develop and consolidate new skills. This includes, of course, that you have to work with your dog at home. Who thinks he can train his dog without investing work and time, is wrong. I’ll show you how you can integrate the dog training in your daily routine without “practicing” additionally countless hours someplace.
With me you will learn how to make your dog a pleasant daily companion, how to change his behavior, how to teach him new things, etc. You are then able to independently continue to work with your dog. Therefore one must not work “deadly serious” or military – training should be fun. Only thus dog and owner learn quickly and enthusiastically.
My goal is to enable a healthy human-dog relationship and to provide enough knowledge and skill, so that every dog owner is able to handle his dog independently in the future.
I attach great importance to responsible and considerate dog ownership. This means, that others should not be bothered or impaired by our dog or even come to harm by him. There it is vital to work prophylactically until obedience exists accordingly.
This is the only way to achieve, that dogs again are more tolerated and respected in society, that there is a more harmonious coexistence free of aggression again.
